He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "I will surely expel the Jews and the Christians from the Arabian Peninsula until I leave none but a Muslim."
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول: لأخرجن اليهود والنصارى من جزيرة العرب، حتى لا أدع إلا مسلما.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Jihad and Expeditions (1767:63) via the route of Ibn Jurayj, "Abu Zubayr told me that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah say, 'Umar bin Khattab told me,'" and he related it.
