There was a Jewish boy who used to serve the Prophet ﷺ. He fell ill, so the Prophet ﷺ went to visit him and sat by his head.He said to him, "Accept Islam."The boy looked at his father, who was beside him, and the father said to him, "Obey Abu al-Qasim ﷺ."So the boy embraced Islam, and the Prophet ﷺ left, saying, "Praise be to Allah who has saved him from the Fire."
كان غلام يهودي يخدم النبي ﷺ فمرض فأتاه النبي يعوده، فقعد عند رأسه، فقال له: أسلم، فنظر إلى أبيه وهو عنده فقال له: أطع أبا القاسم ﷺ فأسلم، فخرج النبي ﷺ وهو يقول: الحمد لله الذي أنقذه من النار.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Funerals (1356) from Sulayman bin Harb, who said, Hammad bin Zayd narrated to us, from Thabit, from Anas, who said, and then he mentioned it. It has been established that the Prophet ﷺ visited Abdullah bin Ubayy bin Salul, the head of the hypocrites, when he was ill.
