Abu Hurairah reported,
"How will you fare when you can no longer collect a single Dinar or Dirham?"Someone asked him, "How do you see that coming about, Abu Hurairah?"He replied, "Yes, by the One in whose hand is the soul of Abu Hurairah, this comes from the words of the Truthful and Trusted One ﷺ."They asked, "What will bring that about?"He said, "The covenant of Allah and the covenant of His Messenger ﷺ will be violated, so Allah 
will harden the hearts of the protected non-Muslims, and they will withhold what is in their hands."

Sahihعن أبي هريرة قال
كيف أنتم إذا لم تجتبوا دينارا ولا درهما؟ فقيل له: وكيف ترى ذلك كائنا يا أبا هريرة؟ قال: إي والذي نفس أبي هريرة بيده عن قول الصادق المصدوق قالوا: عم ذاك؟ قال: تنتهك ذمة الله وذمة رسوله ﷺ فيشد الله عز وجل قلوب أهل الذمة، فيمنعون ما في أيديهم.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapters on Jizya and Truce-Making (3180). He said, Abu Musa, that is, Muhammad bin Muthanna, said, Hashim bin Qasim narrated to us, Ishaq bin Saeed narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Note, Humaydi said in Jam Bayn Sahihayn (2/261), "Muslim narrated the meaning of this hadith with different wording that required splitting it up, otherwise it is sahih in meaning. It begins with, 'Iraq will withhold its dirham and its qafiz.'"I say, this is the hadith that follows.
