Safwan bin Umaya bin Khalaf reported,

"No one will enter Paradise except those who have emigrated."He said, "I said to myself, I will not enter my house until I come to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and ask him." So I went to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, this man Saraq stole a cloak of mine that belonged to a companion of his."The Prophet ﷺ ordered that his hand be cut off.I said, "Messenger of Allah, I have gifted it to him."He said, "Why did you not do so before bringing him to me?"I said, "Messenger of Allah, people are saying that no one will enter Paradise except those who have emigrated."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "There is no emigration after the conquest of Mecca, but rather jihad and intention. So when you are called to march out, march out."

Sahih
