I said, "Messenger of Allah, tell me of a deed I can hold to firmly and practice."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Hold fast to migration, for nothing compares to it."
قلت: يا رسول الله: حدثني بعمل أستقيم عليه، واعمله. قال له رسول الله ﷺ: عليك بالهجرة فإنه لا مثل لها.
Nasai (4167) narrated it from Harun bin Muhammad bin Bakkar bin Bilal, from Muhammad (who is Ibn Isa bin Sami), who said, Zayd bin Waqid narrated to us, from Kathir bin Mura, that Abu Fatimah told him that he said, "O Messenger of Allah..." and he related the hadith.Its isnad is hasan on account of Muhammad bin Isa bin Sami, for his hadith is hasan. Abu Fatimah is al-Azdi, though it is also said he was al-Dawsi, and also said he was al-Laythi, a companion who witnessed the conquest of Egypt and settled in Syria. There is disagreement over his name, some say it was Unays, and others say it was Abdullah bin Unays.
