Abu Yaala (1926, Matalib) narrated it from Harun bin Maruf, and Tabarani in Kabir (6/88) via Ahmad bin Salih, and Hakim (2/119), and from him Bayhaqi (9/163-164) via Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul-Hakam, all three from Ibn Wahb, who said, Abdul-Rahman bin Saad informed me, from Sahl bin Abu Umama bin Sahl bin Hunayf, from his father, from his grandfather, and he mentioned it.Hakim and Bayhaqi do not have the words "except the debt."In its isnad is Abdul-Rahman bin Saad. Darimi said, I said to Ibn Main, "What is the status of Abdul-Rahman bin Saad Madini, from whom Ibn Wahb narrates?" He said, "I do not know him." Jarh wa Tadil (5/238).However, Tabarani (6/88) and Khatib in Muwaddih (2/129) narrated it via Sulayman bin Abdul-Rahman Dimashqi, who said, Ibn Wahb narrated to us, from Abdul-Rahman bin Shurayh, from Sahl bin Abu Umama bin Sahl bin Hunayf, from his father, from his grandfather, and he mentioned it.Abdul-Rahman bin Shurayh is trustworthy, and this isnad is hasan on account of Sulayman bin Abdul-Rahman Dimashqi, since his hadith is hasan. Allah knows best.Haythami said in Majma al-Zawaid (4/128), "Tabarani narrated it in Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of Sahih."
