Abu Musa Ashari reported,

I came to the Prophet ﷺ with a group of my people, and he said, "Rejoice, and bring glad tidings to those you left behind. Whoever testifies that there is no god but Allah, truthful in that testimony, will enter Paradise."So we left the Prophet ﷺ to bring the good news to people, but Umar bin Khattab met us and brought us back to the Messenger of Allah.Umar said, "Messenger of Allah, in that case, people will simply rely on it."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ remained silent.

عن أبي موسى الأشعري قال

أتيت النبي ﷺ ومعي نفر من قومي، فقال: أبشروا وبشروا من وراءكم، إنه من شهد أن لا إله إلا الله صادقا بها دخل الجنة، فخرجنا من عند النبي ﷺ نبشر الناس، فاستقبلنا عمر بن الخطاب، فرجع بنا إلى رسول الله، فقال عمر: يا رسول الله إذن يأكل الناس، قال: فسكت رسول الله ﷺ.
