The pommel of the Messenger of Allah's ﷺ sword was made of silver.
كانت قبيعة سيف رسول الله ﷺ من فضة.

Nasai (5373) narrated it from Imran bin Yazid, who said, Isa bin Yunus told us, Uthman bin Hakeem told us, from Abu Umama bin Sahl, and he related it as mentioned. Its chain is sahih. Ibn Mulaqqin graded it sahih in Badr Munir (1/639), and Ibn Hajar likewise in Talkhis Habir (34/1). Abu Umama bin Sahl is well known by his kunya, though his given name is disputed. He was born during the time of the Prophet ﷺ and did not hear directly from him, but there is nothing preventing him from having seen the Prophet's ﷺ sword. The qabiah of the sword, like safinah in form, is the part at the end of its hilt made of silver or iron.
