Ibn Umm Maktum carried a black banner belonging to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in one of the battles of the Prophet ﷺ.
أن ابن أم مكتوم كانت معه راية سوداء لرسول الله ﷺ في بعض مشاهد النبي ﷺ.
Nasai reported it in Al-Kubra (8551) from Ahmad bin Sulayman (that is, Rahawi), who said, Affan narrated to us, who said, Yazid bin Zuray narrated to us, who said, Saeed (that is, Ibn Abu Aruba) narrated to us, who said, Qatada narrated to us, from Anas, who said, and he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih.
