Regarding the verse "Not equal are those believers who sit at home" [Nisa 4:95], the Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for Zayd, who came with a shoulder blade bone and wrote it down. Then Ibn Umm Maktum complained about his blindness, so the verse was revealed, "Not equal are those believers who sit at home, except for those who are disabled" [Nisa 4:95].
Bukhari narrated it in jihad (2831), and Muslim in leadership (1898:141), both through the route of Shuba, from Abu Ishaq (who is Subayi), who said, "I heard Bara say," and then he mentioned it.As for what has been narrated from Abu Ishaq from Zayd bin Arqam, this is an error, as Abu Zura said. See Ilal Hadith (1/374).
