A young man from Aslam said, "Messenger of Allah, I wish to go out on a military expedition, but I do not have the means to equip myself."He said, "Go to so-and-so, for he had prepared his equipment but then fell ill."So the young man went to him and said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sends you greetings of peace and says, 'Give me the equipment you had prepared.'"The man said, "So-and-so, give him the equipment I had prepared, and do not hold back a single thing from it. By Allah, do not withhold anything from it, so that you may be blessed in it."
أن فتى من أسلم قال: يا رسول الله إني أريد الغزو، وليس معي ما أتجهز، قال: ائت فلانا فإنه قد كان تجهزفمرض، فأتاه، فقال: إن رسول الله ﷺ يقرئك السلام، ويقول: أعطني الذي تجهزت به، قال: يا فلانة أعطيه الذي تجهزت به، ولا شيئا، فوالله لا تحبسي منه شيئا، فيبارك لك فيه.
