Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Shall I tell you who has the best station among people?"We said, "Yes, Messenger of Allah."He said, "A man holding the reins of his horse in the path of Allah until he dies or is killed. And shall I tell you who comes next?"We said, "Yes, Messenger of Allah."He said, "A man who withdraws to a mountain pass, establishing the prayer, giving the zakat, and keeping away from the evils of people. And shall I tell you who is the worst of people?"We said, "Yes, Messenger of Allah."He said, "The one who is asked in the name of Allah but does not give."

عن ابن عباس

أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: ألا أخبركم بخير الناس منزلا؟ قلنا: بلي يا رسول الله قال: رجل آخذ برأس فرسه في سبيل الله عز وجل حتى يموت أو يقتل، وأخبركم بالذي يليه، قلنا: نعم يا رسول الله قال: رجل معتزل في شعب يقيم الصلاة ويؤتي الزكاة ويعتزل شرور الناس، وأخبركم بشر الناس، قلنا: نعم يا رسول الله، قال: الذي يسأل بالله عز وجل ولا يعطى به.
