The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever is killed under a banner of blind allegiance, calling to tribal partisanship or supporting tribal partisanship, has died the death of the days of ignorance."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من قتل تحت راية عمية، يدعو عصبية أو ينصر عصبية، فقتلة جاهلية.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Leadership (1850:57), from Muhammad bin Abdul-Ala, who said, Al-Mutamir related to us, he said, I heard my father narrating from Abu Majliz, from Jundab bin Abdullah Al-Bajali, who said, and he mentioned it.
