The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three whom Allah will not speak to on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful punishment.A man who has surplus water by the roadside and withholds it from the traveler.A man who pledges allegiance to a leader only for worldly gain, so if the leader gives him what he wants he honors the pledge, and if not, he breaks it.And a man who offers goods to another for sale after the afternoon prayer and swears by Allah that he was offered such and such a price for them, so the buyer believes him and takes them, when in fact he had not been offered that price."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ثلاثة لا يكلمهم الله يوم القيامة ولا يزكيهم ولهم عذاب أليم: رجل على فضل ماء بالطريق يمنع منه ابن السبيل، ورجل بايع إماما لا يبايعه إلا لدنياه، إن أعطاه ما يريد وفى له وإلا لم يف له، ورجل يبايع رجلا بسلعة بعد العصر فحلف بالله، لقد أعطي بها كذا وكذا فصدقه فأخذها ولم يعط بها.
