Abdullah bin Masud reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to us, "After me you will see favoritism and matters you will disapprove of."They asked, "What do you command us to do, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Give them their due, and ask Allah for what is due to you."
