The Messenger of Allah ﷺ cursed ten people in connection with wine, the one who presses it, the one who has it pressed, the one who drinks it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who serves it, the one who sells it, the one who consumes its price, the one who buys it, and the one for whom it is bought.
لعن رسول الله ﷺ في الخمر عشرة: عاصرها، ومعتصرها، وشاربها، وحاملها، والمحمولة إليه، وساقيها، وبائعها، وآكل ثمنها والمشتري لها، والمشتراة لها.
Tirmidhi (1295) and Ibn Majah (3381) both narrated it from the hadith of Abu Asim, from Shabib bin Bishr, from Anas bin Malik, who said, then he mentioned it. Tirmidhi said, "Hasan gharib."I say, its chain is hasan because of Shabib bin Bishr Bajali Kufi, who is disputed. Ibn Main deemed him reliable, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators, while Abu Hatim said, "His hadith is weak in strength." The conclusion is that his hadith is hasan, especially when supported by corroborating narrations.As for the statement of Hafiz in Talkhis that "its narrators are trustworthy," this is not accurate. Rather, it contains Shabib bin Bishr, who has been criticized, though he is acceptable for use as a supporting narration.
