The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Wine has been cursed in ten respects. The wine itself, the one who presses it, the one who has it pressed, the one who sells it, the one who buys it, the one who carries it, the one to whom it is carried, the one who consumes its price, the one who drinks it, and the one who serves it."
قال رسول الله ﷺ لعنت الخمر على عشرة أوجه: بعينها، وعاصرها، ومعتصرها، وبائعها، ومبتاعها، وحاملها، والمحمولة إليه، وآكل ثمنها، وشاربها، وساقيها.
Abu Dawud (3674), Ibn Majah (3380), Ahmad (4787), Ibn Abu Shayba (6/447), and Bayhaqi (5/327) all narrated it through Abdul-Aziz bin Umar bin Abdul-Aziz, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah Ghafiqi and Abu Tuama, their client, both of whom heard Ibn Umar say what follows, which he then narrated.Its chain is hasan because of Abu Tuama, whose name was Hilal. He has been criticized, but he is hasan al-hadith. Moreover, he was corroborated within this same chain, being followed by Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah Ghafiqi, who was the emir of Andalusia and was martyred there in the year 115 AH. Al-Hafiz has a good discussion in his defense, so refer to it.Ibn Sakan graded it sahih, as mentioned in Talkhis Habir (4/136).
