We used to prepare nabidh for the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a waterskin tied at the top with an opening at the bottom. We would prepare it in the morning and he would drink it in the evening, and we would prepare it in the evening and he would drink it in the morning.
كنا ننبذ لرسول الله ﷺ في سقاء يوكى أعلاه وله عزلاء. ننبذه غدوة فيشربه عشاء، وننبذه عشاء فيشربه به غدوة.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (2005/85), from Muhammad bin Muthanna Anazi, who said, Abdul-Wahhab Thaqafi narrated to us, from Yunus (that is, Ibn Ubayd), from Hasan (that is, Basri), from his mother, from Ayesha, who said, and he mentioned it.His saying, "and it has an outlet," means an opening at the bottom of the waterskin.
