The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of the hollowed stump, the pitch-coated vessel, and the gourd.
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن النقير، والمزفت والدباء.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (1998:59) via Zuhayr bin Abu Khaythama, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir and Ibn Umar, who said, and they mentioned it.
