The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the use of gourd containers, green glazed jars, vessels coated with tar, and those lined with pitch.
أن رسول الله ﷺ نهى عن الدباء والحنتم، والمقير، والمزفت.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (44:1996), from Yahya bin Ayub, who said, Ibn Ulaya narrated to us, who said, Saeed bin Abu Aruba informed us, from Qatada, from Abu Nadra, from Abu Saeed Khudri who said, and then he mentioned it.
