The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about bita. He replied, "Every drink that intoxicates is forbidden."
سئل رسول الله ﷺ عن البتع؟ فقال: كل شراب أسكر فهو حرام.
Malik narrated it in "Drinks" (9) from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, from Ayesha, and he mentioned it. Bukhari narrated it in "Drinks" (5585), and Muslim in "Drinks" (2001, 67), both of them through Malik, in the same manner. Bukhari also narrated it (5586) through Shuayb, from Zuhri, with the same wording, in which it states that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about bitc, which is a wine made from honey, and the people of Yemen used to drink it. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Every drink that intoxicates is forbidden."
