Abdullah bin Umar reported,

Umar delivered a sermon from the pulpit of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "The prohibition of khamr has been revealed. It is made from five things, grapes, dates, wheat, barley, and honey. Khamr is anything that clouds the mind. There are three matters I wish the Messenger of Allah ﷺ had not departed from us before giving us clear instruction about, the grandfather's share of inheritance, the kalalah, and certain forms of usury."The narrator said, I asked, "Abu Amr, what about a drink made from rice in Sind?"He replied, "That did not exist in the time of the Prophet ﷺ," or he said, "in the time of Umar."In another narration, Zabib is mentioned in place of grapes.
