Ali bin Abu Talib reported,

Ali reported, "I obtained a young she-camel from the spoils of the Battle of Badr, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ gave me another young she-camel. One day I made them kneel at the door of a man from the Ansar, intending to load them with idhkhir grass to sell. With me was a goldsmith from the tribe of Banu Qaynuqa, whose help I was seeking to prepare for the wedding feast of Fatimah.Hamza bin Abdul-Muttalib was drinking inside that house with a singing girl, who began to sing, 'Hamza, here are the fat she-camels.' Hamza rushed at the two camels with his sword, cut off their humps, slit open their flanks, and took out portions of their livers."I asked Ibn Shihab, "And the humps too?"He replied, "Yes, he cut off their humps and took them away."Ibn Shihab continued, Ali said, "I looked at a sight that horrified me, so I went to the Prophet of Allah ﷺ, and Zayd bin Haritha was with him. I told him what had happened. He set out, with Zayd accompanying him, and I went along with them. He entered upon Hamza and was furious with him. Hamza raised his eyes and said, 'Are you anything but slaves of my forefathers?' So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stepped backwards until he had withdrawn from them. This was before wine had been forbidden."

Sahih
