The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Eating any predator with fangs is forbidden."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: أكل كل ذي ناب من السباع حرام.
Malik narrated it in the chapter on hunting (14) from Ismail bin Abu Hakeem, from Ubayda bin Sufyan Hadrami, from Abu Hurairah, mentioning it as related. Muslim also narrated it in the chapter on hunting and slaughtered animals (1933:15), through the route of Malik, in similar fashion.I say, this is a Madinan hadith, and it seems that Zuhri never received this hadith, which is why he took it from the Syrians, as mentioned before.
