The Prophet ﷺ asked his family for something to eat with his bread. They said, "We have nothing but vinegar." He called for it and began eating with it, saying, "What an excellent condiment vinegar is."
أن النبي ﷺ سأل أهله الأدم، فقالوا: ما عندنا إلا خل، فدعا به فجعل يأكل به ويقول: نعم الأدم الخل.
