Talq said, "I came to Madinah and was met by Abdullah bin Salam, who said to me, 'Come with me to my home, where I will give you a drink from a cup that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ drank from, and you can pray in a place where the Prophet ﷺ prayed.' So I went with him, and he gave me sawiq to drink and dates to eat, and I prayed in his place of prayer."
Bukhari related it in Itisam (7342), from Abu Kurayb, who said, "Abu Usama narrated to us, who said, "Buraid narrated to us, from Abu Burda,"" who then related it as already mentioned. He also related it in Manaqib (3814), from Sulayman bin Harb, who said, "Shuba narrated to us, from Saeed bin Abu Burda, from his father," with the wording, "Won't you come so that I may feed you porridge and dates, and you may enter a house?"
