He passed by a group of people who had a roasted sheep before them, and they invited him to eat, but he refused. He said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ departed from this world without ever having his fill of barley bread."
مر بقوم بين أيديهم شاة مصلية فدعوه، فأبى أن يأكل قال: خرج رسول الله ﷺ من الدنيا ولم يشبع من خبز الشعير.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Foods (5414) from Ishaq bin Ibrahim, who said, Rawh bin Ubada informed us, who said, Ibn Abu Dhib narrated to us, from Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.His saying, "a roasted sheep" means grilled. And sila, with a kasra and a long vowel, means roasting.
