The family of Muhammad ﷺ never ate their fill of seasoned wheat bread for three consecutive days until he passed on to meet Allah.
ما شبع آل محمد ﷺ من خبز بر مأدوم ثلاثة أيام حتى لحق بالله.
Bukhari narrated it in "Oaths and Vows" (6687), and Muslim in "Asceticism and Softening of Hearts" (2970:23), both of them through Sufyan (who is Thawri), from Abdul-Rahman bin Aabis, from his father, from Ayesha, who related it.
