Adi bin Hatim asked the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hunting. He replied, "If you send your hunting dog and it becomes mixed with other dogs over which Allah's name was not pronounced, do not eat from the catch, for you cannot be certain which of them made the kill."
أنه سأل رسول الله ﷺ عن الصيد، فقال: إذا أرسلت كلبك فخالطته أكلب لم تسم عليها فلا تأكل، فإنك لا تدري أيهما قتله.
