Narrated by Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba (24714) - and from him Abu Yaala (1933) -, and Tabarani in Kabir (2573), via the route of Shababa bin Sawwar, from Mughira bin Muslim, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, and he related it. Its isnad is hasan because of Mughira bin Muslim, for he is truthful, and his hadith is hasan.Busiri said in Mukhtasar Ittihaf, "Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba narrated it, and from him Abu Yaala, with a hasan isnad." Haythami said in Majma (4/57), "Abu Yaala narrated it, and its men are trustworthy."I say, it has another route. Tabarani narrated it in Awsat (6704), and in Saghir (891), and Ibn Adi in Kamil (3/1074–1075) - and from him Bayhaqi (324/8) - all of them via the route of Muhammad bin Abu Sari, from Walid bin Muslim, from Zuhayr bin Muhammad, from Muhammad bin Munkadir, from Jabir, and he related it in the same manner, adding, "and he circumcised them both on the seventh day."This addition is anomalous or rejected, because Zuhayr bin Muhammad al-Khurasani, al-Marwazi and then Makki, although he is trustworthy, was found weak in the narration of the Syrians from him, and this is one of those cases. Bukhari and others stated this explicitly.
