The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade eating the meat of sacrificial animals after three days.Salim said, "Ibn Umar would not eat the meat of sacrificial animals beyond three days."In another narration, Abdullah would eat his food with olive oil when departing from Mina, avoiding the meat of the sacrificial animals.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Sacrifices (5574) via the route of Ibn Shihab's nephew, and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Sacrifices (2970:27) via the route of Mamar, both of them from Zuhri, from Salim, from Ibn Umar. The wording given is Muslim's, and the other narration is Bukhari's.
