They had slaughtered a sheep, and the Prophet ﷺ asked, "What remains of it?"She replied, "Nothing remains of it except its shoulder."He said, "All of it remains except its shoulder."
أنهم ذبحوا شاة فقال النبي ﷺ: ما بقي منها؟ قالت: ما بقي منها إلا كتفها. قال: بقي كلها غير كتفها.
Tirmidhi (2470) and Ahmad (24240) narrated it through the route of Yahya (that is, Ibn Saeed Qattan), from Sufyan (that is, Thawri), from Abu Ishaq (that is, Subayi), from Abu Maysara (that is, Amr bin Shurahbil Hamdani), from Ayesha, and he related it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Tirmidhi said, "A sahih hadith." Hakim also graded it sahih (4/136), through the route of Israil, from Abu Ishaq, with similar wording.
