The Prophet ﷺ said on the day of Adha, "Whoever slaughtered," I think he said, "before the prayer must repeat his slaughter."
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال في يوم أضحى: من كان ذبح -أحسبه قال- قبل الصلاة فليعد ذبحته.
Bazzar (1205, Kashf Astar) narrated it from Muhammad bin Mirdas Ansari, who said, Bakr bin Sulayman told us, Muhammad bin Amr told us, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan, because Muhammad bin Amr is Ibn Alqama bin Waqqas Laythi, whose hadith is hasan. Likewise the narrator from him, Bakr bin Sulayman, is Abu Yahya Aswari Basri, from whom a group of trustworthy narrators reported, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among his trustworthy narrators (8/148). This is why Dhahabi said in Al-Mizan, "There is no harm in him," and Hafiz confirmed this in Al-Lisan. As for Abu Hatim Razi's statement about him, "unknown," it is to be understood as meaning that he narrated little.The hadith was cited by Haythami in Al-Majmu (4/24), where he said, "Bazzar narrated it, and in it is Bakr bin Sulayman Basri, whom Dhahabi deemed trustworthy, and a group narrated from him, and the rest of its narrators are deemed trustworthy."
