We sacrificed with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the year of Hudaybiyah, a camel on behalf of seven people and a cow on behalf of seven.
نحرنا مع رسول الله ﷺ عام الحديبية البدنة عن سبعة، والبقرة عن سبعة.
Malik narrated it in the Sacrifices (9) from Abu Zubayr Makki, from Jabir bin Abdullah, as mentioned.Muslim narrated it in the Hajj (1318:350) through the route of Malik, similarly.Muslim also narrated it (351) through the route of Zuhayr, Abu Zubayr told us, from Jabir, who said, "We set out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ declaring our intention for Hajj, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded us to share in camels and cattle, seven of us for each sacrificial animal."
