The Prophet ﷺ passed by, while circumambulating the Kaabah, a man leading another man by a nose-ring fastened in his nose. The Prophet ﷺ cut it off with his own hand and instructed him to lead the man by the hand instead.
أن النبي ﷺ مر- وهو يطوف بالكعبة- بإنسان يقود إنسانا بخزامة في أنفه. فقطعها النبي ﷺ بيده، ثم أمره أن يقوده بيده.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Oaths and Vows (6703) from Ibrahim bin Musa, who said, Hisham informed us that Ibn Jurayj informed them, saying, Sulayman al-Ahwal informed me that Tawus informed him, from Ibn Abbas, who said, and then he mentioned it.Khizamah, with a kasrah on the kha, is what is placed in a camel's nose, whether made of hair or something else, so that it can be led by it.
