Waail bin Hajar reported,

A man from Hadramawt and a man from Kindah came to the Prophet ﷺ.The Hadrami said, "Messenger of Allah, this man has overpowered me and taken land of mine that belonged to my father."The Kindi said, "It is my land, in my possession, which I cultivate. He has no right to it."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ asked the Hadrami, "Do you have any evidence?"He replied, "No."The Prophet said, "Then you are entitled to his oath."The Hadrami said, "Messenger of Allah, the man is wicked. He does not care what he swears upon, and he refrains from nothing."The Prophet said, "You have nothing from him but that."So the Kindi went off to swear his oath. As he turned away, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "If he swears upon his property in order to consume it unjustly, he will surely meet Allah while He is turned away from him."
