Abdullah bin Abbas reported,

A blind man had a slave woman who had borne him a child, and she used to insult the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and revile him. He would forbid her, but she would not stop. He would rebuke her, but she would not be deterred. One night, she began reviling the Prophet ﷺ and insulting him, so he took a short blade, placed it on her belly, and leaned upon it until he killed her. A child fell from between her legs, staining the place with blood. When morning came, this was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He gathered the people and said, "I adjure by Allah the man who did this deed, who owes me a duty of obedience, to stand up."The blind man rose, stepping over the people and trembling, until he sat before the Prophet ﷺ. He said, "Messenger of Allah, I am the one. She used to insult you and revile you, and I would forbid her but she would not stop, and I would rebuke her but she would not be deterred. I have two sons by her like two pearls, and she was a kind companion to me. But last night she began insulting you and reviling you, so I took a short blade, placed it on her belly, and leaned upon her until I killed her."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Bear witness that her blood is unavenged."
