Ibn Majah (2592) narrated it from Muhammad bin Yahya, who said, Muhammad bin Asim bin Jafar Misri told us, who said, Mufaddal bin Fadala told us, from Yunus bin Yazid, from Ibn Shihab, from Ibrahim bin Abdul-Rahman bin Awf, from his father, who said, I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, then he mentioned it. Its chain of transmission is sahih. Ibn Hajar also graded it sahih in Talkhis.
