The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not give me preference over Musa, for people will fall unconscious on the Day of Resurrection, and I will fall unconscious along with them. I will be the first to recover, only to find Musa already grasping the side of the Throne. I do not know whether he was among those who fell unconscious and recovered before me, or whether he was among those whom Allah exempted."
Bukhari related it in the Book of Disputes (2411), and Muslim in the Virtues of Musa (2373:160), both from the hadith of Ibrahim bin Saad, from Ibn Shihab, from Abu Salama and Abdul-Rahman Araj, from Abu Hurairah, who related the hadith. The hadith contains a story between a Muslim and a Jew, which will come in its proper place.
