The Prophet ﷺ said, "It is not fitting for anyone to say, 'I am better than Yunus bin Matta.'"
عن النبي ﷺ قال: ما ينبغي لأحد أن يقول: أنا خير من يونس بن متى.
Bukhari reported it in the tafsir (4603) from Musaddad, who said, Yahya narrated to us, from Sufyan, who said, Amash narrated to me, from Abu Waail, from Abdullah, and he mentioned the hadith.
