A young man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, give me permission to commit fornication."The people turned on him, rebuking him and saying, "Stop! Stop!"But the Prophet ﷺ said, "Come close."So he came near and sat down.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Would you like it for your mother?"He replied, "No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nor do people like it for their mothers."He asked, "Would you like it for your daughter?"He replied, "No, by Allah, Messenger of Allah, may Allah make me your ransom."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nor do people like it for their daughters."He asked, "Would you like it for your sister?"He replied, "No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nor do people like it for their sisters."He asked, "Would you like it for your paternal aunt?"He replied, "No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nor do people like it for their paternal aunts."He asked, "Would you like it for your maternal aunt?"He replied, "No, by Allah, may Allah make me your ransom."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Nor do people like it for their maternal aunts."Then he placed his hand on the young man and said, "O Allah, forgive his sin, purify his heart, and guard his chastity."After that, the young man never gave a thought to such a thing again.
إن فتى شابا أتى النبي ﷺ فقال: يا رسول الله، ائذن لي بالزنا، فأقبل عليه القوم فزجروه وقالوا: مه مه فقال: ادنه فدنا منه قريبا قال: فجلس قال: أتحبه لأمك؟ قال: لا، والله جعلني الله فداءك قال: ولا الناس يحبونه لأمهاتهم قال: أفتحبه لابنتك؟ ﷺ قال: لا والله يا رسول الله، جعلني الله فداءك. قال: ولا الناس يحبونه لبناتهمقال: أفتحبه لأختك؟ قال: لا والله، جعلني الله فداءك، قال: ولا الناس يحبونه لأخواتهم قال: أفتحبه لعمتك؟ قال: لا والله جعلني الله فداءك، قال: ولا الناس يحبونه لعماتهم قال: أفتحبه لخالتك؟ قال: لا والله، جعلني الله فداءك. قال: ولا الناس يحبونه لخالاتهم قال: فوضع يده عليه، وقال: اللهم اغفر لذنبه، وطهر قلبه، وحصن فرجه قال: فلم يكن بعد ذلك الفتى يلتفت إلى شيء.
