The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "My eyes sleep, but my heart does not sleep."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: تنام عيني، ولا ينام قلبي.
Imam Ahmad (7417) narrated it from Yahya bin Saeed, from Ibn Ajlan, who said, I heard my father narrate from Abu Hurairah, and he related the hadith. From this same route, Ibn Khuzayma (48) and Ibn Hibban (6386) also transmitted it.Its isnad is hasan due to the discussion surrounding Ibn Ajlan, who is Muhammad bin Ajlan Madani, though his hadith is nonetheless hasan, and his father Ajlan, the freedman of Fatimah bint Utbah, of Madinah, is acceptable and among the narrators of Muslim.
