Ali bin Abu Talib addressed us and said, "Whoever claims that we possess anything we recite besides the Book of Allah and this scroll has lied. It contains the ages of camels for blood-money, rulings concerning various injuries, and the principle that the protection granted by Muslims is one, even the least of them can extend it..." and he mentioned the rest of the hadith.
خطبنا علي بن أبي طالب فقال: من زعم أن عندنا شيئا نقرأه إلا كتاب الله وهذه الصحيفة فقد كذب. فيها اسنان الإبل، وأشياء من الجراحات، وذمة المسلمين واحد يسعى بها أدناهم… وذكر بقية الحديث.
