Ayesha reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for Barirah and asked, "Barirah, have you ever seen anything from her that raised your suspicion?"Barirah replied, "No, by the One who sent you with the truth. I have never seen anything in her that I could hold against her, except that she is a young girl who falls asleep over the dough, and the household sheep comes and eats it."At the end of the account, it states, The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also questioned Zaynab bint Jahsh about my situation. He asked, "Zaynab, what do you know? What have you seen?"She answered, "Messenger of Allah, I protect my hearing and my sight. By Allah, I have known nothing of her but good."Ayesha said, "She was the one among the wives of the Prophet who used to vie with me, but Allah safeguarded her through her piety."
