The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, I declare it a grave sin to violate the rights of the two weak ones, the orphan and the woman."In another narration, "the property of the two weak ones."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: اللهم إني أحرج حق الضعيفين: اليتيم والمرأة. وفي رواية: مال الضعيفين.
Ibn Majah (3678) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (5565), Hakim (1/63, 4/128), Bayhaqi (10/134), and Ahmad (9666) all graded it sahih, all of them from the hadith of Ibn Ajlan, from Saeed Maqburi, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the standard of Muslim." I say, its chain is hasan because of Ibn Ajlan, for he is hasan al-hadith and Muslim cited him as a supporting witness. His statement, "I make sacred the right of the two weak ones," means he forbids their property to whoever wrongs them.
