The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am only a human being, and it may be that some of you are more eloquent in presenting their case than others. So whoever I rule in favor of by giving him something that rightfully belongs to his brother, I am only cutting out for him a piece of the Fire."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إنما أنا بشر، ولعل بعضكم أن يكون ألحن بحجته من بعض، فمن قطعت له من حق أخيه قطعة فإنما أقطع له قطعة من النار.
Ibn Majah (2318) and Ahmad (8394) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (5071) graded it sahih, all of them from the hadith of Muhammad bin Amr, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Amr, who is al-Laythi, for he is one whose hadith is hasan.
