Umm Salama bint Abu Umaya reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "I am only a human being, and you bring your disputes to me. It may be that one of you is more eloquent in presenting his argument than the other, so I rule in his favor based on what I hear. Whoever I rule in favor of by giving him something that belongs to his brother, let him not take it, for I am only granting him a portion of the Fire."
