The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are three whose supplications are not turned back: the just ruler, the fasting person until he breaks his fast, and the supplication of the wronged. It is carried up upon the clouds, the gates of heaven are opened for it, and the Lord says, 'By My might, I shall surely grant you victory, even if after a while.'"
قال رسول الله ﷺ: ثلاثة لا ترد دعوتهم: الإمام العادل، والصائم حتى يفطر، ودعوة المظلوم تحمل على الغمام، وتفتح لها أبواب السماء، ويقول الرب: وعزتي لأنصرنك ولو بعد حين.
Tirmidhi (3598), Ibn Majah (1752), and Abu Dawud Tayalisi (2707) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (3428) graded it sahih. All of them narrated it through the hadith of Saad Abu Mujahid Tai (Ibn Majah said, "He was trustworthy") from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it.Its isnad is hasan, as Tirmidhi said, because of Abu Madla, whom more than one scholar considered unknown. But as you have seen, Ibn Majah, Ibn Hibban, and others have deemed him trustworthy, so he does not fall below the grade of "hasan."
