The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever's last words are 'There is no god but Allah' will enter Paradise."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من كان آخر كلامه لا إله إلا الله دخل الجنة.
Narrated by Abu Dawud (3116), Ahmad (22127), and Hakim (1/351), all from the hadith of Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar, who said, "Salih bin Abu Urayb told me," from Kathir bin Mura Hadrami, from Muaz bin Jabal, and he related it.Its chain of transmission is hasan because of Salih bin Abu Urayb, whose name was Qulayb bin Harmal bin Kulayb Hadrami. A number of people narrated from him, including Abdul-Hameed bin Jafar, Layth, Haywa bin Shurayh, and others. No one criticized him, and Ibn Hibban mentioned him among the trustworthy narrators, and nothing objectionable was found in his hadith. A narrator like him has his hadith graded hasan, and this is one of them.Hakim said, "Its chain of transmission is sahih, though the two of them (Bukhari and Muslim) did not include it. I had once dictated the account of Abu Zura, and the last of his words was the narration of this hadith."
