Malik narrated it in "Suckling" (16) from Abdullah bin Dinar, from Sulayman bin Yasar and from Urwa bin Zubayr, from Ayesha, and he related it.Yahya erred in saying "and from," that is, by adding the "and," and none of the narrators of the Muwatta followed him in this. In the rest of the narrations it is "from Sulayman, from Urwa" without the addition of "and." Ibn Abdul-Barr said this.I say, it is as he said. Abu Dawud (2055) narrated it likewise from Abdullah bin Maslama, and Tirmidhi (1147) from the narration of Yahya bin Saeed and Maen, and likewise Nasai (3300) and Ahmad (24170) from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed alone, all of these from Malik with his chain, without the addition of the "and." Its chain is sahih. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (4223) and narrated it from the hadith of Ahmad bin Abu Bakr, from Malik with his chain.The wording of this hadith will come in the chapter on the milk of the father.Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith, and the practice is upon this among the people of knowledge from the companions of the Prophet ﷺ and others, we do not know of any disagreement among them regarding this."
